Blaine J. Burch is a founder and the managing partner of the Orange County, California law firm of BHR Law Group, where he provides personal, dedicated counsel to business owners, professionals, and philanthropists with respect to income and estate tax issues that arise in the areas of business succession planning, wealth management, and charitable giving. 

Blaine developed experience working for the top estate planning law firms in Orange County.

Blaine advises his clients while drawing on a wealth of knowledge gleaned from years of personal experience as an entrepreneur and business owner. Blaine received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. Blaine quickly became the marketing director of a nationwide agri-business. In that capacity, Blaine helped develop product lines and headed up marketing campaigns with companies like Nestle, Nabisco, and Conagra Foods. 

After obtaining his Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law (now the Antonin Scalia Law School) in Arlington, Virginia, Blaine went on to work at Mundell, Odlum & Haws, LLP, the premier boutique corporate litigation firm in San Bernardino, California. While in San Bernardino, Blaine founded a successful records management business, storing and managing corporate documents for local companies, cities, and counties. During law school, Blaine’s interest was piqued by tax law and how he could help families pass their businesses on to future generations. In 2010, Blaine opened his own law practice focusing on estate and small business planning, where he helped business owners and entrepreneurs organize and protect their companies and plan for the next generation.  Blaine went on to work at Matsen, Voorhees, Mintz, LLP, where he expanded his base of knowledge into asset protection and corporate formation and compliance.  Blaine also worked for two years at Brown and Streza, LLP, where he helped develop cutting-edge tax planning and asset protection strategies for some of Orange County’s wealthiest families. 

Blaine is also very involved with his family, including his wife and three daughters, and in the community as a member of the UCI Planned Giving Professional Advisory Council and member of the Orange County Council of Boy Scouts of America.

Natalie B. Daghbandan

Attorney

Natalie B. Daghbandan is an attorney at BHR Law Group where she represents individuals, families and business owners in estate planning, probate and trust administration. Natalie’s practice includes asset and business succession planning including strategic implementation incorporating estate tax, gift tax and charitable planning analysis.   

Prior to joining BHR, Natalie worked at an AM Law 100 law firm with a global presence. Natalie has experience in business bankruptcy and all aspects of creditor’s rights representation litigating throughout California and in various courts across the country. Natalie has represented some of the nation’s largest institutional lenders among many other clients. Natalie has years of large law firm and boutique experience representing debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, purchasers of distressed assets, trustees, public and private companies and individuals. 

Natalie graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in legal studies and the University of Miami School of Law magna cum laude. While in law school Natalie placed first in multiple local and national litigation and moot court competitions with up to 125 teams competing. Natalie served as Associate Editor of the Inter-American Law Review and Vice President of Advanced Moot Court. While in law school Natalie interned for federal and state judges, The United States Attorney’s Office Southern District of Florida and the Federal Defenders of San Diego.  

Natalie enjoys counseling clients through the estate planning process, guiding trustees through trust administration and representing executors in probate administration.   

Natalie is an active member of her local and business community. Natalie has served in multiple leadership roles for her alma mater, national legal organizations including the American Bar Association Business Law Section, local parent groups and within her church. Natalie lives in South Orange County with her husband and two children. 

Paige Cartwright

Paige Cartwright

Director of Marketing

Paige Cartwright attended Brigham Young University and the American Academy of Dental Assisting before turning her attention to raising three beautiful daughters. Paige began her career as an assistant manager at a local paper supply company before moving on to work as an office administrator at the Starbucks Corporate Orange County regional office. Paige then entered the charitable sector as a public relations specialist, where she collaborated with organizations such as the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Meals on Wheels, Age Well Senior Services, Rise Against Hunger, Soka University, and the Clyde Wright Charity Golf Tournament to raise money to support non-profit organizations. Paige also works closely with the city councils of Aliso Viejo and Laguna Woods to help provide volunteers for multiple charitable causes. On top of all her charitable work, Paige loves to spend time on her Peloton, doing yoga, hiking, water and snow skiing, and enjoying family time with her husband and daughters at the beach.

Firm Administrator

Organization, development, process, and bringing out the best in others are Sharla’s passions. Her background includes director of operations for a specialty pet food company, the president of non-profit women’s focused trade organization, and international trade business development. She began her career in New York City and San Francisco in publishing. Sharla has a degree from Brigham Young University in Communications and Business. She has been married for over 20 years and has 3 wonderful young adult children who love to watch and play collegiate volleyball.
